Design Engineer - Door hinge system - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

Assignment Description:
Continue design of unique Hinge-arm system concept for Side doors.
The task is to work with design of parts as well as the complete door opening kinematic system to achieve
the wanted motion of the doors. Knowledge in different production processes for Aluminum and
mechanical builds are required as well as a good understanding of design for moving parts including
tolerances and tribology.
Design of door system in Catia V5 extruded Aluminum, steel pipes or other metallic solutions. Prepare
concept models together with system engineer. Feasibility study and it should be agreed with packing
and manufacturing for assembly. Later also update design with supplier feed-back.

Requirements:
Competence within design work for metallic mechanical kinematic systems. Need to have high skills in
Catia, TC and 3DPMI. Knowledge within moving system is a must. Earlier experience from closure
system is preferred.
