Automotive Exterior Components- System engineer - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

Description

This is an external consultant position full time onsite in Göteborg with our direct client that is a leading Automotive electric mobility technology and solutions company & is member of renowned car brands in Sweden and worldwide.

*This is not a design engineer position

• Involves Feasibility check for the CAD models.
• Define the exterior component system structural concept and interface
• Talk to the other teams (such as Thermal Management ,PQ, GEO, VI , ME, Homologation……) to secure component design can full fill the requirement
•Finish the System Description of component

Tasks

With our client's Exterior team they are now looking for a System Engineer that can lead the development work of above mention components in one major vehicle program during final development phase. As System Engineer you will take lead on several components. The detailed design work is done inhouse, and the design engineers are reporting their progress to you. You need to handle daily prioritizations, both for yourselves but also for the design engineers, and by that manage your deliveries.

You will in your daily work task collaborate with several stakeholders, such as ME, Packaging,
purchasing, suppliers and geometry to balance and optimizing the product design.
You will be part of a highly professional and skilled team, including deep plastic know how. The team is monitoring advanced new solutions in a challenging environment.

The work principles within the Exterior Systems is flexibility and the possibility to use what you excel at together with a strong sense of co-operation; this meaning that you as part of a team will also support activities in other areas as well as you will get support on your area.

Qualifications

• Open minded, flexible and have a clear find a way approach
• Experience to drive a development task.
• Plastic Design know-hos is a strong merit.
• CATIA skills
