Description

We're looking for an automotive closures systems lead engineer. If you're the kind of person who sees a problem, develops a solution, and engineers an improvement no one's asked for yet, then we want to talk to you!

Tasks

• Generating and executing technical solutions for side closures to support new vehicle programs
• Providing technical leadership for advanced component or technology development
• Performing complex design analysis and evaluating engineering designs
• Working cross-functionally to implement cost reduction, methods and product improvements, and to
support prototype and production build activities
• Balancing business imperatives including but not limited to cost, mass, complexity, and timing
• Production design release of closures parts and subsystems
• Communicating information to and from internal and external customer organizations
• Staying abreast of relevant new technology and competitive products
• Ensure closure systems are meeting all safety and compliance requirements both internal and
external.

Qualifications

• At least +5 years of CATIA experience in automotive development.
• Preferably from Closures system development.
• Team Center experience within the automotive industry.
• Good understanding of the early development phases from styling, through VI and finally the PSS.
• Experience defining Technical Input for styling.
• Master Sections development experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• At least Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering discipline from a recognized & reputed university.
