Description

In this position as Concept Engineer you will be involved very early in the Vehicle development. As responsible for the Complete Vehicle Specifications & Ergonomics you will guide, balance and control the development to meet all planned deliverables on the Vehicle.

Responsible for early-phase concept definition and research concept definition of various brand
vehicles, user functions and exterior design, evaluating the exterior set-up and proposing
corresponding technical solutions, completing the exterior selection & layout.

You will be part of the Concept team and report directly to the Tophat Concept Leader.

Tasks

• Responsible to deliver a balanced Complete Vehicle specification that fulfills the requirements on the Vehicle
• Create Technical input/ setups to guide initial Design volume models development.
• Perform ergonomic studies and competitor benchmark analysis to verify class leading usability of
available space within the vehicles
• Generate General Arrangement drawings.

Qualifications

• 10 years + OEM experience in Complete Vehicle Specifications, packaging and setup of a cars.
• Experience of working with ergonomic is a merit
• Knowledge of Automotive Vehicle definitions, standards and requirements
• Good knowledge of CATIA V5, CAVA, Vis mock up, and Teamcenter at OEM level
• Creative, Analytic and problem solving mindset
• Strong personal drive and motivation with ability to take initiative and drive issues
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
