Description


In the role of network administrator and service responsible, the focus will be to work as a 3rd line support & service desk management but may also include assignments as a solution architect.

Tasks

You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and support of the deployed IT Service and its Service Offerings. This include being day to day activities to support and ensure quality of an IT service and its agreed SLA’s and OLA’s. You will take lead in activities to ensure a high level of quality for the services supporting and activities within ITS to enhance availability and stability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in system support (3rd Line Support)
  • Solid understanding of how systems are built, its hardware requirements, configurations, services and integrations
  • Experience in system development
  • Experience of installations in Windows,Linux, Mac environments
  • Strong customer focus, social and service minded
  • Skilled at communicating with customers through case management systems, mail and phone
  • Has analytical ability and solving problems
  • Self-structured and self-initiating to do what needs to be done in the management work
  • A team player who has no trouble helping others to solve problems and who sees it as a matter of course to share his knowledge with other team members
  • Comfortable at working with agile Methods
  • Expresses speech and writing in English.
  • Experience in certificate management
  • Network Competences
  • CCNA -Cisco Certified Network Associate (Preferable)
  • Have experience of larger complex networks and networking devices for Data centers (e.g Cisco Nexus series or equivalent)
  • CCDA, CCNP and CCIE are merit
