Assignment Description:
- The System Safety Leader (SSL) team is centralized within Electrical Department. The purpose of the team is to establish a framework for system safety work by integrating legal requirements, standards and industry common practices with processes and methods at the clients.
- In this role you will be working in SSL team with system safety to support component owner at the clients and suppliers with safety competence as well as doing system safety assessments.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Support Subsystem and Component-owner from the clients with process and technical expertise about System Safety, focus will be Powertrain, Electrical Propulsion System (EPS) and Chassis System.
- Development and maintenance of a competence center for system safety at the clients.
- Developing and maintaining a Safety Culture within the clients.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. Eng.
- At least 5 years’ experience from Automotive industry.
- Expert knowledge in system safety standards (primarily ISO 26262).
- Good experience from development of automotive safety related E/E systems.
- Good experience in Powertrain, EPS and/or Chassis domain.
- Experience in automotive architecture design is an advantage
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Self-driven and comfortable with high workload.
- Cultural awareness, especially Chinese – European culture.
