As a CAE engineer working with 1-D simulations you will analyse powertrain systems. Components like engine, transmission, battery, electric motor and cooling systems are all important to meet various kinds of legal and customer requirements in different driving conditions. Your main task will be to use the Powertrain System (PSS) Simulation tool, and to work on concept development of new powertrain systems including engine, transmission and hybrid components.
• Follow the process and methods for testing of powertrain systems.
• Produce and analyze simulation results using the simulation tool for vehicle attribute evaluation
• Develop powertrain component models and controls in GT Suite
• Correlate simulation results and measurement data
• Communicate results and concept proposals with line management and powertrain teams.
• M.Sc. in Mechanical-, Applied Physics-, Electromechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience from similar tasks within the automotive area
• Knowledge of 1D-simulations in conventional as well as in hybrid vehicles is a strong merit
• Fluent in English.
• Excellent communication skills and team-worker.
Meritorious Qualifications
• Swedish or Chinese language is a merit.
