Assignment Description:
Lead, follow up and ensure completion of all program activities including APQP /
PAPP for hardware and software electronics as well as other commodities covering
plastic, metal parts. The role requires frequent travel to suppliers' sites and
manufacturing plants. The extent of this travel depends upon various conditions,
including the suppliers' segmentation, specific type of activities, urgent situations,
and distance to supplier(s).
The Site SQE's main tasks are to lead and follow up within the areas of:
• Act as the primary interface between the R&D organization, the Program SQE,
purchasing and the Site SQE team within CEVT / Geely and Volvocars
organizations., assuring communication of program needs as appropriate
• Lead the process to identify/notify suppliers, including integration of Focus
List(s) from Lync & Co manufacturing plants
• Coordinate follow-up and participate in early program sourcing activities
• Coordinate and follow up APQP/ PPAP activities and final part approval before
mass production startMaintain develop the APQP database
• Communicate program requirements including time plans, part and process
requirements, specifications, drawings and testing to the supplier and team.
• Communicate status of supplier preparation and approval activities as per
program defined frequency
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and activities between R&D /
Purchasing / Site SQE within Volvocars, Geely and Lynk & Co. cluster manag
• Manage supplier quality issues reported during program build events by using
the 8D process
• Support/Participate in plant vehicle/engine launches
• Sign off, planning and Re-planning of PSW (final part approval) plan dates for
designated parts and supplier production processes.
• Work closely with suppliers to efficiently solve 0km issues and field issues
connected to the supplier responsibility by using 8D process.
• Manage SRICA and SREA in case of supplier production process changes or
moves.
• Communicates with suppliers on a senior management level and agrees
strategic directions
• Communicates within CEVT / Geely on management level
• Manages multiple product commodities and/or complete vehicle/engine
programs with special expertise within software and hardware electronics.
• Drives implementation of Lessons Learned from previous program
• Develop and maintain internal SQE processes, tools and IT system
• Ability to implement/coordinate complex quality improvement processes
(DOE, 6 sigma, Rate of Climb etc.)

Requirements:
Competence Requirements
• Expertise competence within Hardware & Software electronic production
processes, materials, tests and requirements.
• BSc in engineering or similar level of academic education
• Good analytical and continuous improvement skills (Six Sigma / Lean and
related tools)
• Good skills in Quality processes (APQP and PAPP and related tools)
• Good Project management skills, milestone & gateways
• Excellent MS office skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent English both orally and in written (Mandarine is an advantage)
• Good and proven leadership, managing suppliers/people (good
references)d references)

Experience Requirements
• Preferably 2-5 years’ experience in Automotive or heavy vehicle industry
• Experienced in working cross-functionally and in an international
environment

Software and IT:
General skills in MS Office, preferably also in Volvocars VSIM system, Team
Center Automotive (Viewer)
