Description

On behalf of our direct automotive R&D customer in Gothenburg, Sweden, We are looking for an experienced professional with 7+ years experience working in the capacity of HIL engineer.

In this role you work in a team with responsibility of designing, maintaining and executing automated tests in HIL equipment within Electric & SW Validation Module Team. You will participate in development of models, harnesses and integration of components to add testability to the HIL. You should be hands on expert in testing, test automation, modelling, simulation and handle troubleshooting and analysis of the vehicles electrical system. The module team consists of three main areas of responsibility, verification in subsystem & components, infotainment and also electrical integration. The teams focus is on system and function verification in the cars electrical system.

Tasks

• Develop automated test methods for HIL environments, based on Python in dSPACE and
VECTOR environment.
• Review test methods from a test automation perspective.
• Understand models for the simulation of vehicle features, electrical system and its
environment in Matlab Simulink or Carmaker.
• Work with developing the embedded HW in HIL rigs both dSPACE or VECTOR environments.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. Electrical or Computer Science, Automation or similar.
• Minimum 7 years of test automation experience.
• Knowledge of tools and concepts within the automotive industry such as vector tools, CAN,
LIN and FlexRay.
• Programming skills, preferable in Python.
• Vector CANoe or/and DSpace Controldesk or/and NI experience.
• Experience in development or test and verification, and analysis of embedded functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Self-driven and reliable.
• Be able to work in an agile team and environment.
• Structured with good documentation skills.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• European Driver license.
