We are looking for an experienced system engineer to work in a team that is responsible for the thermal and climate systems, developing cooling systems for the future!
Our client is a leading electric mobility technology and solutions company that is member of renowned car brands in Sweden and worldwide.
The SE will report to Module Team Director and to System Manager Cooling system. You will be a part of an open minded and supporting team, where we together create and develop for success! The daily work will be everything from supplier meetings, project delivery meetings and discussion of future solutions. We are striving to have a flat and flexible organization where everyone can, and will, make an impact. You will be based at client's office in Lindholmen.
As a system engineer you will become a member of the thermal and climate team and work closely together with the team members and colleagues in our department.
• Perform system development (HW and/or SW) that meet functional requirements
• Designs and specify sub-systems and components that meet requirements
• Drives the component development towards suppliers according to requirements
• Secures packaging feasibility within given frames
• Specify and follows up testing and validation at suppliers and at CEVT
• Supports the defined release routines and release plans
• Secure vehicle build with components of correct status in time, and follow up eventual deviations
• Relevant experience from development and specification of systems and components for automotive use,
inclusive mechatronic parts.
• Experience with requirement tools like System weaver and product data management tools like
Teamcenter
• Experience of CAD modelling (when applicable)
• Experience of working with PLM systems
• Persistency to pursue targets and take decisions, proactive handling
• Experience in project management
• Ability to work in cross functional teams handling several suppliers and components
• Cultural sensitivity, especially Asian – European culture
• Change management skills and a flexible mindset
• Experience of requirements follow up inclusive attribute evaluations and discussions
• Fluent English in speech and writing
